The Sixth Chamber Music Festival & Gustavo Romero Piano Competition for Young Artists

The Sixth Forte Chamber Music Festival will be held September 9-10, 2011 at the Joy and Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre of the Academy of Fine Arts. This is a two day event which includes a piano recital by internationally acclaimed pianist Gustavo Romero,  a chamber concert, and The Gustavo Romero Young Artists Piano Competition.   Please download the application and apply now.

The competition begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, September 10, 2011 in the Joy and Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre, and is free and open to the public.

JUST IN!  THE WINNER OF THIS MORNING'S PIANO COMPETITION IS JUNGSHEN SHEN from Potomac, Md.

This evening at 7:30 PM, he will play the winning piece and receive the winner's prize of $3,000 from Gustavo Romero.
